So, people are getting on Ginn for responding to a poster who called him B****-N****? *rolls eyes*

It's because of stories like this that makes me wonder why PFT is even being backed by NBC Sports.

The original poster didn't call him that. The original poster said...

    "Thank goodness you are gone!"

Ted then retweeted that and added everything afterward in response.

i dont know if i could even believe tedd ginn talking **** or stepping up to anyone.

he is afraid to get hit on a football field with pads on. i seriously doubt he would be willing to fight anyone. i bet he would just punch some one and then out run them.

Why? He WAS the most talented guy at WR on our team until last week, he was cheap he killed the Jets and there was no reason not to keep him.

But hey, enjoy that backup LB we get that will be on the practice squad for 2years then out of the league.

seriously, out of all the players in the nfl, ted ginn is the one i might actually pick a fight with. if he said, "say it to my face" i'd probably swing at his 178 pound ***. at which point he'd run away.

Feel free to try that next time you're in San Fran and tell me how that goes. I believe Jose Conseco thought the same thing when he stepped into the ring with Vai Sikahema.

Honestly, it's absurd to me that people are trying to guage someone's fighting skills using football.

Because Ginn plays soft. "Soft" and "Parcells'" don't go together. So why keep someone for another year who wasn't going to be on this team long term anyways? Get what you can for him, and be done.

First, Ted Ginn is to blame for us only getting a 5th, nobody else is at fault. Secondly, at least our backup LB won't run out of bounds to avoid contact.

Ginn has amazing straight line speed. He has good instincts on special teams. That's it. He isn't quick/shifty. He isn't tough. He isn't great w/ the ball after the catch. Speaking of catching, that was suspect last year. He isn't a good route runner. He isn't a good run blocker. How long does the list need to be before it's obvious he isn't a good WR.

Brandon Marshall era is here. I am watching his 21 catch game right now. Amazing hands, great after the catch, good blocker *when he tries*, big target, good route runner, and breaks tackles. Damn we got a stud.

PS: It was mentioned during his 21 catch performance that he previously had an 18 catch performance... wow.

He was an extremely non-physical player on an extremely physical offense.... he just doesn't fit and with the addition of Marshall and the subtraction of Ginn, that unit just got even tougher.

Personally I don't think the Tuna could wait to get him off the roster.... he probably celebrated...lol

Dude, do you remember when Ginn returned 2 TD's against the Jets? Before that, he got tackled twice by Jay Feely the kicker on the kickoffs. Yes he killed the Jets, but what about the other 14 games? And no, Ginn had the most potential at wide receiver because of his speed, he was not the most talented, only athletically talented.

This seems pretty classless as well...
The guy couldn't live up to being drafted #9 overall, but he didn't draft himself...someone else did...that's not his fault...

So he's out of town and we're riding him and making family jokes still? Geez. Good luck to Ginn going forward.

On 2nd thought, lets hope he gets cut in TC and retires. If this guy does anything close to relevent in the league, we're gonna get an avalanche of "OMG I cant believe we traded Ginn, stupid FO" threads

It amazes me how people have accepted Jason Allen more than Ted Ginn when there was a 6 pick differential. And the contribution Ginn had was LITE YEARS more than Allen.

jason allen is under the radar cause he is what he is. a special teamer. if ginn was just a kick returner it'd be quiet. but everyone kept saying "this is his year"

"its year #3 he will blossom"

and then nothing. alot more hype with ginn then allen, ginn plays a more high profile position. Jason allen doesnt win us games or lose us games. hes a good special teamer and nothing more. we knew what we had with him

honestly the ginn nut huggers made it worse by making excuses and always building him up every offseason about "watch him come out and do real good this year" and nothing happened. regardless, ill miss him on kick returns....but we need to move on. hes off to san fran. and we have our #1 WR. iam worrying about the guys on the dolphins NOW and the future (our draft picks)
