Who wants to start an over/under on what round Graham goes?

I say over/under is rd 3, and I'd have to push.

i dont think he gets passed the 3rd. eventhough i see him as a 4th rd TE....someone in the 3rd will take him not wanting to risk him not making it to them in the 4th.

The way his stock is rising at the Senior Bowl practices, if he has an outstanding 40 at the combine it may push him higher than anyone expects.

I really don't see him as a fourth round TE. He won't be going past the second round.

My feelings, too. If we want him it will have to be with our second pick imho.

The only TE's I wanna see us draft in the 2nd is Gresham or Hernandez which both could be 1st rd picks

4th rounder, probably second half of the 4th round at that.
Remember folks, this kid has played exactly 1 year of Football in College.
He has huge upside obviously, but will be at least a year away from making an impact for any team. Probably more like 2-3 years.
If he was still there for our 4th, and much stranger things have happened, I could see us drafting him.
If he is there 5-8 picks before us, I could see us trading up to pick him.

you guys really think we take Graham over Quarless or McCoy, two Tight Ends that fit the blocker/receiver mold that Parcells covets? Even if we're looking for a receiver tight end wouldnt Pitta be a better pickup? I like Graham to a point but he seems like a three year project. Do we have three years to wait for him?

As a Cane, taking Hernandez over Graham would be SACRILIGE!!! But I do think he's more polished and will be a helluva player in the Pro's. I wouldn't like it, there needs to be more Canes on the Miami Dolphins, but I would understand it and would support my Fins.

I love Quarless, but I think we would take Graham before him only because I think Graham would generally be regarded as the more coveted player. McCoy, I'm not so sure where he sits.

Quarless has to be like a 5th rounder right now, so unless he really impresses at the combine I don't see him getting above the 4th.

Yeah, agree on Quarless being a 5th now  I was hoping he would stay in the 6th round range so that we could pull off a steal. I dont know if I want to draft Quarless with our 4th since we dont have a 5th :pity: McCoy showed he was a good blocker and he can catch. Probably a 4th rounder. Graham has huge upside but I dont think he's going to do anything his first year. Can we draft another project at TE? I'm thinking we need someone who can play right away even if its as a 2nd or 3rd TE

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes in round two. His "specs" are amazing and although inexperienced, boy, what a fast learner to make such an impact so quickly. He's turning heads at the Senior Bowl, so I agree with Nabo -- solid combine and he's going to skyrocket. I think round three is the lowest he'll go. I'll be shocked if he slips into the fourth. There is too much upside there.

Agreed, and that team will be us, especially if Fasano somehow walks.

Cue the Jason Witten comparisons from ESPN.

    Hernandez won't go first IMO.
