Just lost a dear friend, who was a good wife and great mother. Was only 34 years of age, and was in great shape. Running a half marathon we lost her with about a mile to go. She's ran full marathons before, so this is a humongous shock. She leaves behind a husband, and two very young kids. me and my girlfriend just had lunch with her a month ago (her family is in San Fran) and I just spoke with her husband about him giving me free office space so I could launch my firm in the city. It was so sudden. I found out when I was at disneyland with my GF and my parents. I couldn't stop hugging them the rest of the day, and we actually left early. Life is so sudden sometimes. So I deplore everyone, when you see the people you love, enjoy it, don't take it for granted and just give them your love.
Dang, sorry for your loss. Was this the San Jose Rock n Roll Half Marathon by chance? I lost a good friend of mine back in early July. A newlywed husband and first time father to his baby girl that turned one the week before he passed. It really puts everything in perspective. Be sure to cherish the memories of your friend. Sorry again.
Wow man, that is terrible, as is Sam's loss. God Bless I think there is probably a more appropriate place than the lounge for this?
real sorry to hear this bro. rip to your friend. Thoughts and prayers for you and yours and the familia.
Still in the autopsy, but prelim talk is of a heart attack, half a mile from the finish. Still cannot believe it. She was in great health. Goes to say, you never ever know.
Prayers for her family and friends. Every second we have with those we love is a blessing and a gift. We can lose them or they can lose us in the blink of an eye. Let people know how you feel when ever you can don't wait for tomorrow.
So sorry to hear. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and her family. Not a day goes by that I don't think about Max and Pudy.
