I know I know the defence and Ginn's drops killed us but if Carpenter makes that field goal we are down by 1 at the 30 and have a shot at a 47 yard field goal to win

    Lots of what ifs tonight

Tough to blame Carpenter. Especially when the D played like crap and Ginn dropped 2 TDs!

no way that first TD you claim Ginn dropped was gonna be caught in the endzone. it was too deep. He tried to slow and stay in bounds but it wasn't happening

carpenter missed 25% of his chances. Ginn dropped 21% (3 drops plus 11 catches).

    Totally Carpenters fault.

Interesting. I sat behind the endzone and did not see this.

I saw him wide open and severely overthrown. Then I saw him wide open again and severely underthrown. Admittedly he had a great chance to make a play on the second potential TD, but both were terrible throws.

Exactly. He was soooo open, too. Pathetic throw. I think I was only surprised that it wasn't under thrown.

Ok, yes, carpenter missed a field goal, yes the defense sucked, yes the playcalling was awful, but when you're still in a position to win the game, and the potential winning TD pass is dropped... Sorry....

What really ticks me off this morning though, all the highlight shows... show it as this miraculous comeback by Manning... nevermind the fact we totally dominated them with our ground game and that they only had the ball 15 minutes, and that we almost pulled it out at the end... Stupid media...

disagree, I think he didn't want to dive and thought he could catch and drag, then realized it was deep and couldn't catch up and didn't want to lay out.
