Wow...I can recall watching this show in College and then not being very surprised when it went away, thanks to the magic of youtube, the older 6 minute clips are available. Boobs, nachos, and metal. Throw in football and that would encompass the four elements essential to life.

Stewart was the best with his Winger shirt. Hehehe I remember loving the show and disliking the commentary over the videos, but then upon rewatching them, the true brilliance is in their commentary. I suppose I was too young to realize it at the time. and Choke was my favorite episode, where Butthead is choking on a chicken nugget the entire episode as Beavis tries to save him. 911: Have you heimliched the victim? Beavis: Have I licked his rectum? No way! Then at the end, Beavis trips over the neck of a passed out and almost dead Butthead, dislodging the nugget, which he in turn, picks up and eats, and proceeds to choke on it himself.
The Christmas Episode where Butthead is shown the "3 Ghosts" is my favorite. Beavis working in a Soup Kitchen and serving bums is comedy gold.
Dude I was the same way! We used to record all the episodes and pause it during the videos. What was I thinking?!?!?! When I got older.....yeah, they're golden. Heh, I read an article years ago with Kip Winger. He said the moment Stewart appeared on that show with a Winger shirt on, they were done. That was the moment their careers torpedoed. My favorite episode (off the top of my head) is similar. It's the one where Butthead gets stuck in the (elevated) pipe with his bottom half hanging out. The whole episode Beavis is talking to his ***. Freaking hilarious. The usual idiotic hijinks. Fire department shows up, ambulance, helicopters, local news, etc. And it ends with Beavis getting stuck in the pipe the same way, alone.
i love beavis and butthead, even their movie was brilliant, and i dont mean brilliant in the stupid way, i mean it was actually a good movie with a story line and all... every once in a while when i see my mom, she still mentions teepee for my bunghole... she used to laugh like crazy when id watch beavis and butthead and the great cornholio would show up, haha
Remember when they kept calling that guy from Stewart's house and flushing the toilet, which resulted in Stewart's dad getting his *** kicked? Inspirational.
I checked out Idiocracy on (I think) Padre's recommendation, and it is brilliant. A little hard to watch, and I'm sure in no small measure uncomfortable to those who saw more than a little of themselves in the characters.
even in the last few years, every once in awhile MTV will run a "Moronathon" of several episodes back to back. classic stuff.

Man, I was recalling some of my favorite quotes from Beavis and Butthead: "Go away dog, Beavis isn't dog food, he is worm food" "Do that again Butthead and I'm going to collapse your nads" "My mom is not a whore she is a ****, she gives it away"
I have a box set on DVD.
