You do realize that he won a Super Bowl in 2007 right?

You realize we'd be a Tampa 2 team then, don't you? That's Tony's defense right there. Besides, I believe I read somewhere that if he does hang it up after this year it's because he wants to go into the ministry and become a pastor. It may have been in the newspaper here, I live in Indiana, just don't remember stuff so good anymore. Too many sources, not enough attention to source names.

If a coach winning a Super Bowl less than 12 months ago makes them "finished", then may the Dolphins be so lucky to hire a coach who is equally "Done".

Besides the fact that Dungy would be the best coach this franchise has had since Jimmy Johnson left, hands down?

I dont discredit his coaching abilities, and I think he is an absolute gem, both as a coach and a person, but I think that Parsnips is going to get somebody a tad bit tougher..

Now then, on to the cover-2. We dont have the personell now, but then again, what exactly do we have the personell for. We ran the Cover-2 very effectively back when Pat and Sam were nailing down the corners, and guess what, we constantly had a top 5 defense. No-one better to coach the cover-2 than Mr Dungy himself.

Well if he does indeed retire, we would have to be coachless for a year. Those pesky multi-year contracts with other teams, can be hard to work through.

I don't even know why were even talking about dungy. He is not goona retire to join this cluster @#$% of a team. If he retires it will be to spend time with family.
Wishfull thinking is my guess. Nice to dream! but nontheless still a dream.

Jimmy was living off his legacy from Dallas. This team has not had good coaching or good QB play in ages. Even Marino's last few seasons at Qb were inconsistent. Jimmy couldn't get a Walker like trade. He found some guys but he also missed on alot of guys also.

    In the draft war room
We'll probably have to brainwash someone to come and be our head coach. How else would anyone want to undertake the task of trying to clean up the mess left by Wanny, Nick and Cam?
