If you want to play a real baseball game you have to have a PS3. Sorry. That's just what it comes down to.
I agree. I bought 2k9 like the idiot that I am. I played the demo, I disliked it. I played 2k8, i disliked it, but I still bought 2k9. Damn me for having a great sales month last month and having cash to waste! Its terrible, in all ways. To be honest, I dont think I have one positive thing to say about the game.
i popped in 2k8 last night, i started a franchise and traded to make the mariners current. but the game is still bad...i finally learned not to buy 2k9
It's sad really. It is a game that should be cross platformed to all the systems. Gamers who need a baseball game that don't have a PS3 are getting screwed and REALLY missing something.
i dont think they can anyways because 2k owns the rights...or else im sure some other party besides EA would make a game...what would be sweet if they had all the players stats(and minor leaguers) and then you could upload rosters like on college hoops 2k8...so you can save the rosters and play with names.
some things I like that 2k offers ....you can Download anyones uploaded rosters/ created players to add to your custom roster/game sliders. other than that..bla it sux
If you don't want to buy a PS3(which you should), Then you should get it for the PS2 if you have one of those. MLB09 on the PS2 probably kills MLB2k9 on the 360/PS3.
