I am looking for that movie that when you watch it, you think, "Man I should like this, but it is so boring, or just not getting it or whatever."

My movie is Unbreakable. Everything about this movie I feel like I should like. It has actors that are two of my favorites doing a great performance. It is about super heroes and the way it is shot is really really really good. It is a stunning movie that is interesting.

However it just bored the hell out of me. Plus Mr. Glasses purpose of just finding a super hero so he can get caught. He didn't even set out a trap or something like a villain. Just never ever want to see this movie again.

this one is very clear for me.

    Traffic.

    great acting and actors? check.
    great directing? check.
    great production and script? check.

i was so glad when it was over, and i wouldn't sit through that depressing, disturbing flick again for a penny under $250.00.

i acknowledge its a great movie...thats all good and fine, but i hated sitting there watching it.

I'm going to get a lot of crap for this, but Scarface. I dont hate it, I just feel like I should like it more than I do. Those are my type of movies also so it puzzles me. Just seems longer than it needs to be or something.

The Al Pacino (1983) one or the Howard Hawks (1932) one?

The modern one bored me but I love the original.

I like Christian Bale as an actor, but Rescue Dawn was kind of boring.

I have to go with Alvin and the Chipmunks. I mean, after all these years, those chipmunks still have it man. They are at the top in the acting department, there voices, after all these years, haven't weakened. And really, they look better than ever. Jason Lee was his usual great self playing the part of Dave. The script and the dialogue was first rate. The fart jokes are hilarious, the singing brought tears to my eyes, and Jason Lee - well, I'm just speachless. But for whatever reason, the movie bored me to tears. Go figure.

And you guys who didn't like the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I say: YOU SUCK!!! :escape:

Yeah, rescue dawn was a little on the dull side. But Bale was as usual, great in his part. He's one of the best actors out there for sure. And he's a great batman.

Not sure if you have but reading Heart of Darkness I think helps, and feel like it's better the second time you watch it.

I own so many versions of the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars movies, and have watched them so many times... Not sure what mine would be as a lot of the movies listed I haven't watched and I'm not a very harsh critic when it comes to films. Maybe Batman Begins, I like it but I wasn't crazy about it and compared to the next two films it just comes up short for me.

This entire movement of substance-lacking, shi**y CGI inflated horror/thriller movies that the younger generation seems to eat up.

I'd rather find a good foreign horror/thriller like 'Martyrs' and read the subtitles than watch this new wave of unoriginal, Hollywoodized, American slop. Basically all the same garbage with a different title. If a movie has to rely on sudden loud noises and sh-t popping out at the viewer to elicit a response then it's not a very good movie. But I guess my dumb *** is a glutton for punishment b/c I continue watching 'em.

yeah that's true too..... and the majority of it is so phony looking it makes it difficult to get into the movie.

I'd like to see more stuff like the slasher 'Laid to Rest' by famed horror makeup artist Robert Hall who uses minimal CGI, and when he does, it's seamlessly blended in so that you're not distracted by any fakeness.

    - Any movie by Peter (Can't End A Scene In A Reasonable Amount of Time) Jackson. Yes, that includes the Lord of The Rings.
    - Any movie by James (Surprisingly not considered to be on the same level as Michael Bay) Cameron.
    - Any movie by Oliver (I want people to think I'm artsy and cool) Stone.
    - Most movies by Stanley (I believe methodical pacing carries deeper meaning) Kubrick.
