Jones not happy? Interview snafu? Cowboys owner Jerry Jones talked cryptically early Monday about his assistants not being allowed to visit other team’s interviews. His words were curious _ considering that Jason Garrett and Tony Sparano had flown to Baltimore for interviews on Saturday. [mod]please do not post entire articles[/mod]
That means nothing for us as it relates to Sparano. Jerry and Bum Jr. are ticked at Baltimore for flying his guys halfway across the country instead of meeting them here.
from a miami herald article: ''The interview has to take place at a time and location that is acceptable for the current employer club and it can take place no later than the Sunday preceding the Super Bowl,'' league representative Greg Aiello wrote in an e-mail. So, if Jones didn't want them flying to Baltimore....why did they?? If Baltimore set this up w/o Dallas' blessing, they were apparently in the wrong.
