Miami's Offense has averaged 1.7 points per drive...
Kc's Defense has allowed an average of 2.0 points per drive...

KC's Offense has averaged 1.7 points per drive...
Miami's Defense has allowed an average of 0.86 points per drive...

Weather permitting it will be another low scoring game that Miami has had a habit of winning this year...

If we want to win, it had BETTER be a low scoring game. Our offense isn't winning any shootouts the way it's been playing.

The good thing Rick is that we are 5-1 (score by 5 points or less)...

KC is 1-6 (score by 7 points or less)...

So yes we are consistently better when its a low scoring game...:knucks:

KC is probably the worst defense we have playing in a long time. Even the Raiders and Seahawks are better. Id really like to see us put up 20+ here, especially if we can get our running game going hard. Will be good practice for the Jets.

As for the D, they need to be ready. KC can put some points up fast if your looking over them. Need to keep the pressure on them.

Got a bad feeling about this game.

'Course I had a bad feeling about the Eagles/Browns game and the Eagles smoked the Browns.

But we're not the Eagles... and they're not the Browns.

KC giving up 155 yds/g. I think that's more then enough logic. If this isn't the prime game to actually rely on the run and NOT the pass, then call me stupid. I'm tired of the dink and dunk passes. You let Ronnie/Ricky get those yards pounding it, soften up that defense. Then the dink and dunk leads to sore linebackers trying to cover TEs/RBs. I'll go nuts if we don't come out of this game with a ratio close to 2:1 (rush attempts/pass attempts).

Of course, Sparano and the Tuna are liable to do that counterintuitive Sun Tzu crap and, realizing that the Chiefs will expect us to try and run on them because of their run defense and the cold weather, come out throwing it instead.

That would probably be Henning's call, wouldn't it?

That would be a mistake. You could tell our D where u will be running and we still would not be able to stop you. However, if there is a strong point on our defense it is a few good young corners. (flowers, carr and Legatt) I think we should be up by a few points around half time (like evey other game this season) but we can not close out a game running the spread offense and the Phins will most likely be another team on the long list of team that have made second half comebaKCs on us this season. That being said, I hope it is a shootout and a fun game to watch. I have no animosity towards the Phins. Its hard to hate a team that wears turquoise!! :tongue2:
