I really was hoping I wouldn't be the one starting this thread but so much for that . A couple three and outs. A nice bat down play by Terrence Wheatley of the Patriots in man coverage against Marvin Harrison. Wheatley is a good player in the future. Anyone else going to watch this?
like they just ran the wildcat.. losers. im glad theyll forever go down as the team that got absolutely embarassed by us, and ronnie brown with his 5tds!
I love how banged up the patriots are. I think the colts have to establish a bigger lead than this and play from ahead. I think the Colts D is more for pass oriented drives and not so much someone running it on them.
Take a look at the current playoff standings. Tonights game will show which pack the Colts want to be a part of the most. 1. Tennessee (8-0)(6-0) 2. Pittsburgh (5-2)(5-0) 3. New England (5-2)(3-2) 4. Denver (4-4)(2-4) 5. Baltimore (5-3)(5-3) 6. New York (5-3)(4-3) Buffalo (5-3)(3-2) Miami (4-4)(4-3) Indianapolis (3-4)(2-2) San Diego (3-5)(3-3) Cleveland (3-5)(2-3) Jacksonville (3-5)(3-5) Houston (3-5)(2-4) Dolphins Remaining Schedule: Seattle (2-6) Oakland (2-6) New England (5-2) @ St. Louis (2-6) @ Buffalo (5-3) San Francisco (2-6) @ Kansas City (1-7) @ New York (5-3) Wow. 3 division games. And 5 gimmies. Should be a tough road to a 10-6 record.
Wow what the hell kind of play was that? A shovel pass? What? Anyway, if the colts can come back and score that would be huge. Come on guys!
Lol they went for it and got intercepted. Bad INT though, they should have knocked it down and got 20 yards better field position. Cant believe so many NFL players are so lacking in situational awareness. Oddly enough, it wasnt a horrible call to go for it. That area of the field is a dead zone where punting doesnt help you out much, and a success can really drive your team down toward the endzone. The worst thing was that terrible play on 3rd down. If they could have gotten 8 yards on 3rd, that would have been much easier to convert. Good job by the Indy D.
Not only do I want this win for the Fins but also to squash the ESPN "Belichick/Pats are God" discussions. Plus the Colts are my second favorite team.
I was glad to see Manning win his superbowl, and I like Wayne, but hate the Colts in general lol. Always loved to see JT laying the smackdown on them. Them and denver, we always seem to play them tough. Still, the Colts havent locked this game up by any means.
And its over, Indy victory. Great day to be a Phin!! Hopefully this will set them back again. Hate the Patriots so much. Was already getting irritated listening to all the talking heads yapping about how they "were back"
You know, Cassell actually has looked a bit better, but any team with a decent pass rush can get to him easily and fluster him. And that defense is very much a moveable object. Everyone was just overly impressed with Denver the other week and thought a Pats explosion against them was the second coming or something .... Noooooooooooooooo, Denver just blows.
I saw the Sanders pick (somehow missed the FG) and fell asleep I couldn't stay asleep because I wanted to know who won the game. As it turns out if I was fully awake I would've known.
