How does someone who contributes to NFL.com blatantly forget about the 1976 Buccaneers? Not really an issue, in my mind. Either they do, or they won't be here. And there's no reason to believe most of them won't.
That is absolutely pathetic that a witer hired by the NFL's official site would make such a mistake. I don't know which is worse, an NFL writer not knowing such a stat or the fact that this "journalist" wouldn't research whether there ever had been a winless season before writing such a statement. Idiot on both counts and a very telling sign about the quality of the majority of "sports journalists" today.
Oh, I didn't know they were an expansion team. Thanks for the lesson. . Also, the Bucs went their first 2 seasons winless. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tampa_Bay_Buccaneers#1976-1978
Somewhere during that period was Coach McKay's sound byte about his team's execution. When asked about it by a reporter, he said he was all for it!
Why the hubub about the Parcells team mentality? It is what he brings to this team we have not had in 15 years, it is the very heart of why Parcells' teams win games/championships.
