Here's a follow up to yesterday's thoughts. I'm sure you'll get a kick out of my stance on Joey Porter: http://www.realfootball365.com/nfl/articles/20680.html So where do you guys stand on the veteran defenders?
As far as off season changes, and what Tuna normally does, I suspect ZT, JT, and JP all 3 to remain with Fins next season and contribute as VETERANS with a continued influx of young drafted newbies! The FA signings if any will be a interesting indicator of talent and direction for filling holes from Tuna's eyes. If Tuna doesnt sign many FAs that speaks volumes about who we have vs what the draft will add. If we sign 2 or 3 FAs it sets up the draft and decisions on aging Veterans.
Yup Joey Porter has come on. If they can improve the defense around him more he'll put up even more numbers. He's got 3.5 sacks and 2 INT's. When was the last time we even had a LB with that many plays? He's been close to so many more sacks to.
