I know there are a couple of you who follow UCLA so this was long overdue. U$C haters are more than welcome here.

Lotta new changes coming up next year. Rick Neuheisel and Norm Chow (huge addition) are taking over. Our QB's are still getting injured but our defense and run game looks solid. Can't wait to see what Chow can do with some new prospects. The guy is a certified QB maker. OL will be an issue. But I gotta give a shout-out to high school pal Ekbatani for making the squad off Juco.

And on the basketball side. #1 ranked incoming class. 3 four star recruits and 2 five star ones. I was a bit worried about our bigs but Morgan was a blessing and Gordon should be a capable replacement for Moute. If LSU didn't change coaches or allow J'Mison Morgan to leave, I'd be a bit scared at the C position. And Jrue Holliday looks like a star.

    Go Bruins. Beat $C.

Nothing wrong with driving by the "Trojan red"-light district to pickup some U$C ho's.

Now you speakin' my langauge lol.

On a serious note, I'd :hump: her anyday.

    Alright seriously,

the Bruins look to be in good shape this year. I like Norm Chow a lot as an OC. Neuhiesel is a hell of a coach assuming he stays out of trouble (Btw, sounds wierd saying that about a coach).

As for basketball, they're always good. I just wait for the season to start and then I pick them to win it all lol.

They need to find a QB who can stay healthy.

I was going to bash UCLA but because of the anti-USC message presented in this thread I no longer see it as necessary. Good luck this season

I think it's really a rebuilding year for us. Plus we've got a pretty tough sched as it is. Lost our leader on D, Bruce Davis, two good safeties, and our best OG. But we've got a good foundation thanks to a good recruiting year. The only thing Dorrell had that Neuhiesel didn't was character but that's about it. Dorrell was horrible at playcalling.

Yea, though I like our odds this year better because Bethel-Thompson is no longer on the squad. The walk-on guy literally handed Notre Dame the win.

I was going to bash ND but I see we have a common enemy in USC. But good luck to you guys too. Especially against USC.

What a great start for Neuheisel. I may go to jury duty tomorrow with a severe hangover but it's all worth it. Real nailbiter at the end. Anybody else go to the game or watch it?

I did. While you were safely tucked away in the den, I was in open water although we had a pretty big advantage over Tenn's fans in attendance in our section (1, corner endzone).

    IT WAS NOISY AS HELL

Indeed. And it was throughout the game. Last time it was that loud was the 13-9 U$C game and the later parts of the Cal game last year.

    Nice seats though.

It says 1 but I'm very sure we had a lot of hurries and hits after the throw.

Watched the whole game. Craft looked horrible in the first half but man was he good in the second. They're saying he's going to be the next great College QB.

Certainly has a chance to be. And under QB guru Chow, who's resume includes Phillip Rivers, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, and Steve Young, Craft's got the best in the business. Hell, Chow made Young look half-way decent as a thrower in the pros. With Olson and Cowan as IR fixtures, Craft needs to do well. Early in the season I knew Craft would get the start because you have a 100% chance of Olson and Cowan getting injured.

We're now ranked 23rd going into the next game against #15 BYU. :knucks: That's going to be a likewise tough matchup.

Funniest thing is that we'll probably be ranked higher since a couple of teams will fall and we won't.

Neuheisel had 4 ints in his starting debut albeit not all in one half I believe. As long as he keeps his head on straight, we've got a damn real good coach. They've got that attitude that was inconsistent on Dorrell's teams.

Ugh, knocked out of the top 25 and replaced by Cal. We should still be in the 25 because there's no way WVU should still be in it after a putrid game against East Carolina.

all i know is there better not be any ball throwing/spiking in the endzone this week. but i'm sure neuheisel has already threatened the boys as to the imminent death by screaming that would occur if said events happened.

This game depressed me deeply.

If Tennessee got beaten by a team that got spanked red bottomed by BYU then this season is going to be a waste.

I dunno about that. You have the two starting QB's, starting TE, the senior starting WR, and starting RB all out. You're left with a Juco QB, decent receivers, backups to the backup RB's, and a very inexperienced line which itself is missing players. I don't think anything short of a miracle worker could done more than that. We fumbled often and that's what killed all the good drives and left our D out there for a long time (which itself was decimated by injuries).

Ugh the Juco offense fails to score a TD again and lets Arizona have great field position throughout. Just 0 talent at any position on the offensive side of the ball. Norm Chow's a good play-caller but you gotta give him at least one decent player to work with.

That was the result of fielding an offense that might barely start for a junior college. Honestly, the OL is just horrible (apologies to Ekbatani of course) and the QB sucks.
