Born in March 2008, ThePHINS.com is the brainchild of a couple of hardcore Miami Dolphins fans with just enough technical expertise to be dangerous.

We are based out of Tampa, FL.  But as you know, the ‘Dolphin Effect’ is far-reaching, with many rabid fans cheering the team on from across the country and beyond.  Our site is no different.  In fact, two members of our ‘backbone’ live outside North America (South America, Australia).

We strive to provide the best overall experience we can.  The site is a labor of love and the collective effort of a lot of good people.

ThePHINS.com is about the Dolphins first and foremost.  But it’s also about relationships. One of the first decisions made by our creators was to embrace the ‘community’ aspect of being Dolphin fans.

Let’s face it: we’ve suffered a lot over the last few years as our proud franchise sunk to the depths of the downtrodden.  But the thing to remember is, we suffered TOGETHER.  Through thick and thin (mostly thin), we went through it together.

As a result, a common bond was developed.  And with the recent revitalization of the franchise, it makes the good times that much sweeter!  So stop by and say hello on our Miami Dolphins message board and forum.

We’re a close-knit bunch, yet we welcome anybody with a passion for the team and a desire to interact maturely with fellow football fans, be it Dolphin or otherwise. This mentality has been successful due in large part to, again, our membership’s strong sense of community.  There’s a genuine vested interest in the site’s continued well being.

That and the water.  There has to be something in the water.
